Contracts are well executed, but there is not much availability for additional opportunities. Most suppliers are currently trying to secure some deals for the remaining year to benefit from current record prices for all grades. Given that the situation with Ukraine/Russia is getting bogged down, some buyers decided to move on and purchase some volumes to secure business. Non-GMO and Kosher crude glycerine remains a challenge, so European buyers are trying to find alternative sources from SEA, where the supply is more significant.
